Rand Holdren - Founder
Rand Holdren has coached in High School football over a dozen years in various capacities including Offensive Coordinator, Passing Game Coordinator, Special Teams and Quarterbacks Coach. With over 30 years of football experience as a player and coach, Rand's passion of coaching kids and helping them get to the next level has come full circle with the creation of Underground Football.
During the off-season, he has spent the last seven years as a part of the B2G Elite family serving on the Board of Directors for one of the pioneers of 7on7, Ron Allen. Additionally, Rand is lead Quarterbacks Coach responsible for the curriculum in the B2G training program. Rand is also the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the highly successful Under Armour sponsored B2G Five Star team which competes, and has been successful at the highest levels of 7on7 in the country.
Rand is currently responsible for the 2018 NFL Draft preparation for the Quarterbacks at the Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California, which also includes his Quarterback of 9 years, Chad Kanoff. Kanoff's senior year at Princeton University saw him set multiple Ivy League and Princeton records while on his way to winning the Bushnell Cup Award (Ivy League MVP).
As a player, Rand broke 12 school passing records his senior year at Bishop Diego Garcia High School in Santa Barbara (1996). His senior year also included numerous awards including 1st Team All-League, All-County and Team Captain. He went on to earn a full ride football scholarship at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he played quarterback, receiver and contributed on all special teams for the Mustangs.
